Sailing Lessons!

Finally! I have something else to post. It's been a while.

I'm living in Germany so a lot of plans I had were put on hold. I'm coming up on some time off and will be heading back to the US. I'm looking at flying into Baltimore and doing a road trip.

I'm looking at going to Washington DC to visit for a couple days. Eventually, I'm going to Houston. There's a bay nearby and lots of marinas. I called recently to one place that offers sailing lessons from beginner to advanced. I signed up for ASA101, the most basic certification offered. I have the book in hand and looking forward to the end of July so I can get out on the water and enjoy some much needed time off.

I still look at sailboats, blogs, forums etc. to learn what I can. But, I also get distracted by life, work, school and really need to get out and have some fun.
